Art Nouveau Labradorite Ring
Labradorite is another orthoclase felspar and is in the same family of minerals as moonstone.
Labradorite was named after Labrador in Newfoundland Canada although it is also found in Finland, Madagascar and Brazil. Labradorite is very closelt related to spectralite.
Rainbow Moonstone is actually a labradorite.
Labradorite comes in just about every color of the rainbow including deep blue, to blue green, green, gold, red and even purple though this is quite rare.
