Custom Silver BC Jade Ring

Nephrite Jade is found in the interior of British Columbia in the Lilloet Cashe Creek area.

BC Jade is found in Central British Columbia. The variety is nephrite as opposed to jadeite which comes from China. Jade has been used by the ancients worldwide for carving beautiful and intricate sculptures. The tightly woven interocking crystal structure lends itself to strength and durability. British Columbia’s Salish and other indigenous ancestors used jade for making tools to carve wood into totems, canoes and other useful implements.

The stone used for this custom* ring is a 9x12mm oval and can be ordered in any finger size.
*As these rings are made one at a time, variations in the final design can occur.
