Gem Silica is the highest quality of chrysocolla which is a secondary copper mineral that has many variations of its purer and prominently blue color.
Particles of blue to green chrysocolla are suspended in agate or quartz making gem silica a much more durable stone than the other blue cousin of chrysocolla which is tourquoise.
The design wasn't intended this way but I think it definitely looks like a goddess.
