British Columbia Canada Custom Silversmith and Jewelery Designer Bill Fedoriuk
Bill Fedoriuk was raised in Toronto's Kensington area. An
inner city kid with a passion for nature and art, he moved
to British Columbia in 1978. Living in many of B.C's rural
artistic communities, his childhood intrigue with rocks,
minerals and fossils led him in learning to cut and polish
semi-precious stones. Bill worked with a costume jewellery
manufacturer on Vancouver's Granville Island. In 1988 he
studied with west coast silversmith Albert Aube. Bill has
since created a jewellery style that is reminicent of many
antiquated styles throughout history. His jewellery has
been described as Medieval, Celtic and Victorian and most
recently art noveau but his style is inherently his own
drawing on the "...collective memory bank of jewellery
design down through the ages".
Bill promotes his work on the summer and christmas craft
fair circuit as well as at a number of galleries and gift
stores in Vancouver, Victoria and the Gulf Islands.
